Tenerife is an Island of extended Canary pines mountains and of high cliffs as Los Gigantes with its magnificent vertical rock-faces. There are two humanity’s heritages: the city of San Cristobal de la Laguna and the national park of Teide. Besides there are 42 environmentally safeguarded sites.

Tenerife has been able to combine tradition and modernity with its elaborate gastronomy made of fresh soil and sea products offering simple and delicious dishes. Among the big variety of its dishes the Vieja, tunny-fish and salted-fish such as Jareas and Tollos are the most famous in the island. In the dishes based of meat the rabbit is the most important one. Sweets like the eggs Huevos Mole and the Fragollos will be able to satisfy the utmost demanding palates.
